1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to Bio Pamoja by healthcare facilities, biomedical engineers, equipment suppliers, administrators, and visitors. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts and approval
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- You are responsible for protecting your password and activity under your account.
- Registration does not guarantee approval. Bio Pamoja may review, approve, reject, suspend, or request additional verification.
- You must promptly update information that is allowed to be edited.
3. User responsibilities
Healthcare facilities
Facilities are responsible for the accuracy of equipment records, service requests, locations, approvals, and information provided to engineers and suppliers.
Biomedical engineers
Engineers must only accept work they are qualified and legally permitted to perform. Service and calibration reports must be truthful, complete, and based on work actually performed.
Suppliers
Suppliers are responsible for product descriptions, pricing, availability, quotations, regulatory compliance, warranties, delivery information, and product quality.
4. Service requests
Bio Pamoja helps facilities and engineers find and manage biomedical work. The facility and engineer remain responsible for agreeing on the scope, access, safety requirements, timing, payment, and completion of the service.
Emergency clinical or life-safety problems must be handled through the facility’s approved emergency procedures. Bio Pamoja is not an emergency-response service.
5. Marketplace and quotations
Product listings and quotations are provided by suppliers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Bio Pamoja facilitates communication and record keeping but is not the manufacturer, seller, transporter, or payment provider.
Facilities must review product specifications, regulatory status, warranty, delivery terms, taxes, and final pricing before accepting a quotation or order.
6. Equipment records and QR codes
Equipment information, maintenance dates, calibration dates, images, service history, and QR labels must be kept accurate by authorized users. A QR code provides access to a record; it does not certify that equipment is safe, calibrated, or fit for clinical use.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Bio Pamoja, impersonate another person or organization, upload false or harmful material, access another user’s information without permission, interfere with security, or use the platform for unlawful activity.
8. Documents and content
You retain responsibility for documents and information you upload. You confirm that you have permission to provide them and allow Bio Pamoja to store and process them to operate the platform.
9. Platform availability and limits
Bio Pamoja aims to provide a reliable platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Users must independently verify professional qualifications, equipment condition, service outcomes, products, prices, and regulatory requirements before relying on them.
10. Suspension and termination
Bio Pamoja may restrict or suspend an account to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, meet legal obligations, or enforce these terms. Where appropriate, the user may be contacted for clarification.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the platform develops or legal requirements change. The effective date and version will be updated. Significant changes may require users to accept the new version.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Parties should first try to resolve concerns directly before using available legal or regulatory procedures.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to biopamoja@gmail.com.
This working version should be reviewed by a qualified Tanzanian legal professional and updated to match Bio Pamoja’s registered business details and final commercial model.
